Juventus are strengthening their youth teams with the signing of Francisco Barido from Boca Juniors. Aged just 14, he plays as an attacking midfielder and is described as a left-handed player with excellent technique, an excellent dribbler and a specialist in set-pieces.
According to Tuttosport, the transfer was made possible when Barido’s parents decided to settle down and live permanently in Italy, an imperative condition for recruiting such a young foreign player. Juventus will not pay any transfer fee.
