Juventus are looking to strengthen their midfield this winter. The club is currently exploring several avenues and has a shortlist of three to five profiles. Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli himself confirmed the Old Lady’s interest in these players.
“We still need to evaluate some of the guys who have had less space, like Iling and Nicolussi Caviglia, who grew up in our youth sector. Before the transfer market, if there’s any good opportunities, we’ll evaluate them,” said the sporting director. To these profiles should be added Pierre-Emile Højbjerg of Tottenham, who costs 30 million euros. Juventus are hoping for a loan with an option to buy. Plans B remain Lazar Samardzic of Udinese and Rodrigo de Paul of Atlético Madrid.
