Juventus are looking for a long-term replacement for Wojciech Szczesny and have reportedly identified Monza’s Michele Di Gregorio as their main target.

The 33-year-old Polish goalkeeper has continued to be an important figure in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad this season, playing 23 league games, but has now entered the final 18 months of his contract in Turin. Juventus, under sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, continue to build their sustainable project and are looking for the right young players to strengthen Allegri’s squad ahead of their return to the Champions League next season. As Andrea Ramazzotti of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Juventus believe Di Gregorio is the right option to replace Szczesny as long-term number one, and work has now begun on the Monza keeper. Despite his history with Inter and the admiration of Samir Handanovic, the 26-year-old Italian would be happy to join the Old Lady. Monza values Di Gregorio at around €20 million.
