According to Tuttosport newspaper, Juventus have rejected a €25 million offer from Nottingham Forest for Federico Gatti.
The Italian defender scored in Juventus’s 2-1 win over Monza on Friday, helping the Old Lady back to the top of the table ahead of tonight’s meeting between Napoli and Inter at the Stadio Maradona. According to the report, Massimiliano Allegri blocked Gatti’s exit after a pre-season tour of the USA, where the former Frosinone defender impressed the Old Lady boss. Gatti, 25, has been a regular starter at the Allianz Stadium this season, with 12 Serie A games and two goals. He was called up by Italian coach Luciano Spalletti in October and November. Gatti made his senior debut for Italy under Roberto Mancini in a 0-0 draw with England in 2022. The Italian defender joined the Old Lady from Frosinone in 2022 and played 39 games for Juventus. He recently signed a contract extension at the Allianz Stadium, meaning his current deal expires in June 2028.
