According to Tuttosport newspaper, Benfica and Sporting CP are interested in Arthur and Kaio Jorge, who are owned by Juventus, and their sale would help the Bianconeri finance the purchase of Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta.
Several sources in Italy claim that Koopmeiners is the Juventus midfielder’s main target for next season. According to Tuttosport, the Serie A giants are planning to secure his signature this summer. The Turin-based newspaper reports that Atalanta’s asking price for the Dutch midfielder is between 65 and 70 million, so Juventus need some sales to afford his signature. According to the report, Benfica are interested in Brazilian midfielder Arthur, currently on loan at Fiorentina, while Sporting CP are looking for Kaio Jorge, scorer of three goals in 16 Serie A games at Frosinone. Tuttosport claims that the sale of both players would help Juventus raise 35 million euros, essentially half the price Atalanta are asking for Koopmeiners. Juventus have already spoken to midfielder Bart Baving’s agent, but other clubs are interested in the 26-year-old, including Tottenham and Manchester United.
