Juventus Turin recently announced the extension of Alex Sandro’s contract. Shortly afterwards, the club could still sell the Brazilian defender. A sale that would not only generate profits for the club, but also free it from a very large wage bill.
According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the Juventus board has met to decide on Alex Sandro’s future. Alex Sandro is in the sights of Galatasaray and several Saudi Arabian clubs. A probable move to an exotic destination could earn the Piedmont club up to €20 million. Also, Juventus, absent from the Champions League and Europa League, is looking to reduce its wage bill. The departure of the former Porto player could save 6 million euros.
