A few days ago, Cristiano Ronaldo filed a lawsuit against Juventus, claiming 19 million euros in back wages from the Covid-19 period while still at Turin. The club has announced that it is calm and that the Madeira-born player’s claim is unlikely to succeed.
In today’s edition, Tuttosport explained that Juventus Turin was serene about Cristiano Ronaldo’s legal action. It gives the reasons for its confidence. Firstly, the club has proof that the former Manchester player himself waived the four months’salary, but did not sign the accompanying letter which allowed him to claim three months later. The second reason is linked to the departure of the current Al-Nassr player. When he left Piedmont, he signed a letter stating that he had no outstanding issues with the club. Juve are therefore relying on these facts to breathe a sigh of relief over Ronaldo.
