Juventus feel optimistic about the condition of Federico Chiesa and Adrien Rabiot after today’s training session.
The Bianconeri face Sassuolo on January 16, the final match of the 20th round, and are desperate for a win after Inter’s victory on Saturday night. Juventus have won five of their last six Serie A matches and have qualified for the Coppa Italia semi-final, where they will face Lazio. Despite the off-field problems of the last 18 months, Massimiliano Allegri has put the team in contention for two trophies this season. As Calciomercato.com points out, Chiesa completed today’s entire training session with his Juventus team-mates and is now aiming to take part in the next clash with Sassuolo. Adrien Rabiot is currently continuing his individual training, but is expected to join his team-mates for Monday’s training session. Chiesa has missed Juventus’s last two games with knee problems, while Rabiot missed the Coppa Italia win over Frosinone with a thigh problem.
