In a recent media release, Javier Zanetti returned to the sad episode of racism against Lukaku last season during the Italian Cup semi-final between Juventus and Inter. The vice-president revealed that the attitude of the people who work at the Old Lady of Italy had seriously annoyed him. In his speech, he revealed the reason why he cried the very last time.
“I got very angry about an episode that took place against Juventus when we qualified for the last Italian Cup final a few months ago. The attitude of the people who work for the club really irritated me. The last time I cried? With joy in Qatar, after winning the World Cup final. We all cried as a family,” the Argentine told La Nacion.
