“Juventus are not favourites for the Scudetto”, Miralem Pjanic

Miralem Pjanic, former Juventus Turin player, in a recent media outing, spoke about the club’s chances of winning the Scudetto. For the Sharjah FC player, the Old Lady has lost notoriety over the years. He believes that without the stars of yesteryear, the club will find it difficult to win the ultimate prize.

I agree that we can improve the quality of the game, but I don’t understand the harsh criticism that is often levelled at Juventus. So many players have left, it’s no longer a team like when I was there, where there were so many individuals who could make the difference, like Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mandzukic. In this Juve team, I see few players capable of scoring, I don’t see them equipped to be among the favourites for the Scudetto. So we can always do better,” Miralem Pjanic told Radio TV Serie A.
