A new Nigerian striker is all the rage in Europe, and more specifically in Germany. It’s Victor Boniface. The Bayer Leverkusen striker is in the sights of Juventus and Napoli.
Author of 16 goals and 8 assists in 23 games this season, Victor Boniface is, along with Serhou Guirassy, one of the Bundesliga’s real attractions. And this is also evident in Italy. According to the Italian press, Juventus are targeting the player as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian could leave for England in the winter. On the other hand, Napoli see Victor Boniface as the new Victor Osimhen. The latter will soon be leaving Napoli. His compatriot could be the perfect replacement. However, there is no guarantee that Leverkusen will be willing to release the player they bought for €20.5 million last summer. Should this be the case, suitors should expect to pay a minimum of €40 million, as the player’s market value has soared since then.
