Gleison Bremer has agreed to sign a new long-term contract with Juventus that will include a higher release clause than his current deal.

The 27-year-old Brazilian international put pen to paper on a new four-year deal with the Old Lady in December last year, a deal which included a €60 million release clause. As the summer approached, rumours began to circulate about his future in Turin. A number of clubs across Europe, including Manchester United, were seriously interested in recruiting Bremer this summer, but a transfer never materialized. It became clear that the defender was satisfied with Juventus and made no attempt to leave the club. According to Calciomercato.com and Fabrizio Romano Bremer has agreed a new long-term contract with Juventus, a deal that contains a higher release clause than his current €60 million. He will sign the contract in the next few hours, confirming his future with the Old Lady. In his first two years with the Bianconeri, the 27-year-old defender scored eight goals and provided one assist in 83 games, establishing himself as one of Serie A’s best center-backs.
