With the departure of Juan Cuadrado, Juventus are looking for a quality right-back at a lower cost. The Piedmont club have reportedly set their sights on the Swede, a player also in Napoli’s sights. Cristiano Giuntoli, the Old Lady’s sporting director, is thus embarking on his first battle with his former club.
Juventus have been scouring the market for a right-back since last winter. A number of names, including Rece James, Wilfried Singo and many others, have been linked to the club. But in the end, Emil Holm was the Italian club’s first choice. The 23-year-old Swede, who made 23 appearances for La Spezia last season, scoring one goal and one assist, has caught the club’s eye. 10 million are needed to buy him, but Juve’s offer will start from 6 million euros.
