According to Tuttosport, Roma are keen to extend Dean Huijsen’s loan or make his transfer permanent at the end of the season, but Juventus are already planning to bring the 18-year-old back to Turin at the end of the current campaign.

The Dutch central defender was loaned out to the Stadio Olimpico until the end of the season during the January mercato, but the Giallorossi don’t have the option of making his transfer permanent. According to Tuttosport, the Giallorossi would like to keep the promising defender in the capital beyond the summer, either by extending his loan or signing him permanently if he qualifies for the Champions League. However, Juventus won’t even listen to Rome’s offers, as the Bianconeri plan to bring the 18-year-old back to the club and make him a permanent member of the first team in 2024-25. Huijsen recently signed a contract extension until June 2028 at the Allianz Stadium.
