Several sources claim that Joshua Zirkzee will join Manchester United from Bologna as the Red Devils have agreed to pay a clause of €40 million plus a commission of €15 million.
Bologna striker Zirkzee is ready to join Manchester United, according to several reports. Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Red Devils have informed Bologna that they would trigger Zirkzee’s €40 million clause, while Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic say that the Premier League side have reached a full agreement with the striker’s agent, including a €15 million commission. Romano confirms that Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been in direct contact with Zirkzee in recent weeks. Zirkzee had emerged as one of the main transfer targets for Serie A giants AC Milan. The Rossoneri were ready to pay his €40 million clause, but tried to negotiate a lower commission fee with the Dutchman’s representative, Kia Joorabchian. Zirkzee hinted that he would leave Serie A this summer after making his senior debut for the Netherlands in the EURO 2024 quarter-finals against Turkey last Saturday.
