José Mourinho has qualified Roma for the final of the UEFA Europa League. On this occasion, he sends a dig at his colleague Pep Guardiola who achieved the same feat with Manchester City in the Champions League. The Special One makes a comparison between the two teams and shows that the Citizens really had the means to do it, unlike the Gialorossi.
“The only teams that do not suffer are the exceptional teams that have players from 40 to 70 million euros on the bench. For example, the other day at Manchester City, Julian Alvarez, Foden and Mahrez came in. We lose 4 or 5 players and we suffer. Here at AS Roma, the one who comes on is because it is his turn. We have invested 7 million euros in the market and we are in the final. It is extraordinary what we have done,” said Mourinho, noting that his work is much more complex than that of Guardiola.
