Next season, José Mourinho is unlikely to be able to count on Tammy Abraham, who is unavailable for an extended period. To this end, the Special One is currently looking for a replacement for the Englishman. For the time being, his priority is Alvaro Morata of Atlético Madrid.

According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, José Mourinho is looking for a striker for next season. The Portuguese coach needs to strengthen his attack, and Alvaro Morata would be his first choice. The media outlet reports that the former Real Madrid coach has already called up the player he coached at the Merengue club. The Colchoneros would not be opposed to selling the player, but would demand a minimum of €22 million. A sum a little too high for the Gialorrossi. Should this approach fail, Roma could explore other options, such as Mehdi Taremi from Porto, Folarin Balogun (Arsenal), Youssef En-Nesyri (Sevilla) and Gianluca Scamacca (West Ham).
