It’s no secret that Juventus are looking to recruit Jean-Clair Todibo this summer. But since the rumor started, discussions don’t seem to be leading to any white smoke. The detail blocking the deal was revealed today.
Juventus Turin are very active on the transfer market. After Kephren Thuram, the Old Lady are now on the trail of Jean-Clair Todibo. The club has already reached a personal agreement with the 24-year-old defender. All that remains is an agreement with OGC Nice, which has been slow in coming. The Bianconeri are proposing an expensive loan deal with an option to buy in the region of €30-35 million. For their part, the Aiglons are looking for more guarantees that the transfer will take place in 2025. They therefore want a compulsory right of repurchase. At the same time, West Ham in the Premier League would be willing to pay this sum immediately. This leaves the Juventus – Todibo operation in total limbo.
