According to Sky Sport Italia, Jakub Jankto is returning to Cagliari.
The deal is expected to be a two-year contract with an option for a third. The 27-year-old is no stranger to Italian soccer, having first arrived at Udinese’s youth academy in 2014, before playing for Sampdoria . He transferred to Getafe in 2021 and spent last season on loan at Sparta Prague. A left-sided midfielder who can also work on the right or in the center, Jankto has played 155 Serie A games during his career, also contributing 17 goals and 17 assists. This will be a reunion with Claudio Ranieri, as Jankto has already played under the coach from 2019 to 2021 at Sampdoria.
