AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli spoke at a press conference today, ahead of his team’s meeting with Genoa. The match is part of the 35th day of Serie A. The Transalpine spoke of his future, but also of his suffering in recent months due to the club’s poor results.
Speaking about his future amid the rumors, Pioli had this to say. “At the end of the championship, I’ll meet the club and we’ll see what to do. I know you find it hard to believe me. I understand it when you look at it, but I’m not thinking about my future,” began Pioli. He then went on to make no bones about his suffering in view of the club’s performance. “Over the past 5 years, I’ve often gone home with a happy heart when I’ve been on fire. Then recently things changed and I was a bit sadder. When there is so much love, there are always excesses. I really appreciate the satisfaction the fans have given me, but I’ve also suffered a lot,” Pioli told the press conference.
