Simon Kjaer is living out his last days at AC Milan. The Danish defender is set to leave the club at the end of the season. Speaking to Milan TV, the former Sevilla player confessed to having a feeling of a job well done in Lombardy. He said it had always been his dream to play for the club, and he was proud to have achieved it.
“I arrived in Italy when I was 19, in Palermo. I immediately told my agent: ‘I want to go to Milan’. It took a while, but in the end I came here and this is my company, my place and it will always be like this. When I arrived here, Milan was going through a very difficult period that had lasted for many years. Paolo (Maldini, ed.) and Ricky (Massara, ed.) brought me here to make an impact, especially on the youngsters, to give continuity and help the group grow. I think I’ve done my job,” declared Simon Kjaer.
