It’s official: Italy will host Euro 2032 eleven years after it was last staged. UEFA today awarded Euro 2028 to the United Kingdom and Ireland, and the following edition to the duo of Italy and Turkey.
Italy is back on the European scene. Candidates with Turkey for Euro 2032, the two nations have never met a challenger. The UEFA president then awarded the organization to this duo. They presented a total of 20 eligible stadiums for the tournament. However, football’s governing body on the Old Continent ultimately selected only 10, with 5 from each country. “Congratulations to Italy and Turkey, co-hosts of EURO 2032! The joint candidates have presented 20 potential host stadiums, from which 10 will be chosen, five per country, by October”, wrote UEFA on its X account.
