Juventus have officially announced that defender Federico Gatti has signed a new long-term deal with the club. The Italian center-back will be a pillar of the club for years to come.
The Italian defender was recruited by the Bianconeri for a fee of €4.50 million in January 2022 following his emergence at Frosinone. After finishing the season with the Giallazzurri, he joined Massimiliano Allegri’s team this summer. The Italian central defender already demonstrated his talent last season, but he is taking on a new dimension this season. Despite his mistake against Sassuolo, he immediately recovered and established himself as a pillar of the team. As announced by Juventus, Gatti has signed a new long-term agreement with the club, keeping him in Turin until June 2028. Previously one of the team’s lowest-paid players, he has now benefited from a slight pay rise.
