Massimiliano Allegri appeared at a press conference today, ahead of Serie A matchday 12 against Cagliari. The Tuscan coach spoke of Italy’s constant underestimation. He revealed that Italian clubs often do well in European competitions and should deserve a little more credit.
Juventus Turin are not currently taking part in any European competition due to suspension. But Massimiliano Allegri is working on restoring this right to the Old Lady. But in the meantime, he urges observers to stop downplaying the potential of Serie A sides. “In Italy, we tend to downplay the value we have, Italy and Italian teams have always had good European competitions. Then there are years that go better and others that don’t go so well, now they’re going well,” said Max Allegri.
