Arrigo Sacchi, the legendary Italian coach, has spoken about the European campaign of the Italian clubs. Currently, five Serie A clubs are still competing in Europe. They are Inter, AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and Fiorentina. The 77-year-old believes that Italy has woken up and is playing good soccer.
“Italy has woken up. Five teams in the semi-finals of the European Cup is a remarkable result. But remember that a fundamental rule of life says that you can always do more and better. Juve and Roma, playing more traditional soccer, are in the running for the Europa League and they too can do it. Finally it is Fiorentina d’Italiano, who play well and need to have more confidence in their own ideas and qualities,” Sacchi told the Gazzetta Dello Sport.
