President Florentino Pérez is very fond of the current Brighton coach, and is keen to make him the team’s new manager. The former Sassuolo man could seize this opportunity to come to the fore. A decision he will have to make quickly if the offer comes in, as Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso is also a profile that appeals.
