Lazio are stepping up their attempts to bring in Santos centre-forward Marcos Leonardo, but have not yet reached the asking price.
Brazilian reports had already confirmed an interest in the 20-year-old talent last week and now Sky Sport Italia claims that the Biancocelesti are making more of an effort to find a deal. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Lazio have made an offer worth €10 million, but this is still less than the €13 million Santos have set for the striker. Marcos Leonardo has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 24 official games for Santos this season.
