Arrigo Sacchi, former legendary coach of AC Milan, in a recent media outing, expressed his desire to see all three Italian clubs in contention in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. He is counting even more on Napoli and AC Milan to go well beyond this stage.
“I see a revival of Italian soccer. We have three teams in the Champions League, one of which has already qualified for the quarter-finals (AC Milan, editor’s note…). Now I hope that Inter will show that they are a team in Porto and that they won’t go on the field just to wait for the opponent’s mistake. Italy can take three teams to the quarterfinals, it would be an excellent result and then we can play with everyone, especially Napoli and Milan, “said Arrigo Sacchi to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
