Chris Smalling recently extended his contract with Roma. He is now tied to the club until 2025. Shortly after the extension, he spoke to the Giallorossi media. The former Manchester United defender revealed that it was very easy for him to make the decision to stay in the Italian capital.
“I’m very happy to be staying at Roma. It was an easy decision to make. Because the last few years have been some of the best of my career. Especially when I think of the fans. No matter who we’re up against, their support is incredible. I think when I walk the dog or go shopping… It was an easy choice. I’m delighted to be continuing my career here,” said the Brit.
