After deciding not to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer, Inter have now turned their attention to several other strikers such as Folarin Balogun and Alvaro Morata.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly prepared a total offer of €40 million to Chelsea for the Belgian striker, but have decided to withdraw from the race, unhappy with his negotiations with rivals Juventus and his recent distance from the club.
Inter are now on the hunt for a new striker, keen to bolster Simone Inzaghi’s attack ahead of the upcoming campaign. As detailed by Sky Sports Italia, Inter have four strikers in particular they are considering moving for this summer. The first of these is Balogun, who is their preferred option. M’Bala Nzola is also on the list, and would be a much cheaper option after Spezia’s recent relegation. Inter are also considering moving Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid and Mehdi Taremi from Porto, both valued for their experience and ability to make an immediate impact.
