Former Italian player and coach Fabio Capello commented on Inter’s 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad in the UEFA Champions League in a recent media interview. He openly criticized the choices made by Simone Inzaghi, who made several changes to his starting eleven. He also talked about how the Spanish club got the better of the Nerazzurri.
“Five changes in the basic team in my opinion there are too many, the team that beat Milan was another. Inter suffered from Real Sociedad’s pressing and technique. The Nerazzurri team folded up, but the Basques’technique gave them trouble. The substitutions were useful, and in the second half Inter showed what they were capable of. The Basque team don’t have the same type of substitutions and that shows that Inter’s team is competitive,” Fabio Capello told Sky Sports.
