André Onana left Inter a year after his arrival. The Cameroonian goalkeeper has signed for Manchester United, whom he will join in the USA for the preseason. The Nerazzurri are facing enormous difficulties in finding a replacement.

Long before André Onana left for Manchester United, Inter targeted two profiles to replace him. The first was Anatoliy Volodymyrovych Trubin, who plays for Chakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine. Initial contacts have been made, with the Italian club making an initial offer. The offer was for 12 million euros. However, the Ukrainians deemed the offer insufficient and are demanding 18 million. The second option is Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer. But Thomas Tuchel is unwilling to release the Swiss striker unless he can be sure that Manuel Neuer will return in time. At present, with the departure of Samir Handanovic, the club finds itself without an experienced keeper.
