Inter have rejected Chelsea’s first concrete offer for goalkeeper Andre Onana, but negotiations will continue after the Champions League final, according to reports.

TMW details just how seriously interested Les Bleus are in snapping up the 27-year-old Cameroon shot-stopper this summer, ready to replace Edouard Mendy and find a new long-term number one. Onana has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Chelsea, but the club’s initial offer of around €40 million to Inter was rejected by the Serie A side, who are fully focused on the Champions League final against Manchester City.

Negotiations will continue next week after the final and Romelu Lukaku could be included in the talks. The Belgian striker has no intention of returning to work with Mauricio Pochettino and could play an important role in discussions with the Premier League side. If Onana were to leave this summer, Inter would be looking to sign Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario as a replacement.
