Inter are ready to hold contract negotiations with captain and top scorer Lautaro Martinez in Madrid.

Lautaro’s agent, Alejandro Camano, is expected to be in the Spanish capital for negotiations with the Nerazzurri later this week, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport. Tuesday’s report suggests that both Inter and Lautaro Martinez are keen to extend, although specific terms, including salary and length of contract, have yet to be decided. Lautaro’s current contract is due to expire in 2026, which means there’s no urgent rush for an extension just yet, but the club would like to conclude their star striker’s future as soon as possible. La Gazzetta reports that Inter are ready to offer Lautaro a deal worth €8 million per season plus bonuses, although Lautaro is lobbying for a figure closer to €10 million. Bonuses included in the contract are an important part of the negotiations. With various add-ons included, Lautaro could become the highest-paid player in Serie A.
