Piotr Zielinski is not about to sign a new deal with Napoli, and Inter are already preparing a bid for the Polish midfielder.
The 29-year-old, who played a key role in last season’s Scudetto success, was strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer. He has decided not to take the plunge and has entered the final year of his contract with the Partenopei, who have opened extension negotiations. Discussions with Napoli appear to have stalled and all has remained quiet regarding Zielinski’s contract, making him an attractive prospect for Italian and foreign clubs alike. This season, he has scored three goals and provided three assists in 18 games. As reported by Tuttosport via TMW, Inter plan to offer Zielinski a four-year contract worth around €4-4.5 million net per season plus add-ons. He currently earns around €3 million a year with Napoli.
