Inter have overtaken Juventus and Roma in the latest UEFA club coefficient rankings, and are now the highest-rated Italian team in Europe after their run to the Champions League final in June.

UEFA’s ranking system is based on teams’results in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League over a five-year period. Thanks to their successful Champions League campaign in 2022-23, Inter are now ranked eighth overall in the UEFA ranking system, up three places from 11th last season. Roma, on the back of their run to the Europa League final, are now ranked ninth, up one place from 10th last season. Juventus are Italy’s third-best team in Europe, ranking 10th in the system, down two places on their previous position. Elsewhere, Napoli come 18th, up one place on last season, Atalanta rank 25th, an improvement of three places, while AC Milan land in 33rd place, four positions better than the previous campaign.
