Inter director Beppe Marotta says the Nerazzurri will not be recruiting new players in January unless someone asks to leave.
Marotta attended the Gran GalĂ del Calcio on Monday evening and spoke to Sky Sport Italia about the Nerazzurri’s season so far and their plans for the January transfer window. “We have reached considerable levels of maturity and awareness, which allows us to openly confront any opponent. Some players stand out more than others. They are experienced and mature and, together with the younger players, they create a fine blend for a team that can be protagonists right up to the end of the season. With humility, I can say that we have built a winning model on and off the pitch. We all have a responsibility and a common task: to identify strong players and build a solid team. This is a strong group. We don’t have many weaknesses. As you know, it’s not easy to find good opportunities on the January market, so I don’t think we will recruit perhaps if someone asks to leave. I insist on the fact that we have important players who meet the needs of the club,” declared the Nerazzurri director.
