Just when everyone was predicting the departure of Lukaku from Inter Milan this summer, it’s Lautaro Martinez who’s about to pack his bags. The Argentine has become a target for Real Madrid in recent days.
The divorce between Lautaro Martinez and the Nerrazzuri could become a reality this summer. The Milanese striker is being courted by Real Madrid. The Spanish club would like to recruit him to replace Karim Benzema up front, who recently moved to Al-Ittihad. The Italian club is demanding 100 million euros before releasing Martinez, an amount Florentino Perez considers too high. Kylian Mbappé is currently the hottest issue on Real Madrid’s agenda. The Merengue club have the chance to snatch the French international from PSG this summer. Florentino Perez’s intention is to reposition him in the 9 position and combine him with the Vinicius-Rodrygo pair in attack. Should this prove unsuccessful, the Merengue club will return to Lautaro Martinez, who is basically a top striker.
