According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are furious with their midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who asked for a severance package before leaving for Al-Nassr, but his transfer is not yet complete.
There have been a number of twists and turns in recent days, with Brozovic initially rejecting an offer of €20 million a year from Al-Nassr, while Inter shook hands with the Saudi Club over a €23 million deal. When Al-Nassr raised their offer for Brozovic to 100 million euros over three years, Inter’s offer was lowered to 15 million euros, including add-ons. On Friday, the offer for the Nerazzurri was raised slightly. According to Gazzetta, there had been tension between the Croatian international and Inter, as Brozo had demanded a severance package to leave the Nerazzurri, as if more than 30 million euros a season were not enough. According to Gazzetta, Inter want Brozovic to decide by the end of the day whether he will stay at the Stadio Meazza in 2023-24.
