Inter have confirmed that Davide Frattesi is suffering from a muscle strain and will be unavailable for the clash with Salernitana.
The 24-year-old Italian midfielder joined the Nerazzurri this summer from Sassuolo on a loan deal. The 24-year-old has made just one start under Simone Inzaghi this season, with a total of 215 minutes of action in his seven appearances so far. As announced today, Frattesi underwent a series of medical examinations at the Istituto Humanitas in Rozzano, which confirmed the presence of a muscular strain. He is suffering from slight pain in the flexors of his right thigh. The 24-year-old will undergo further tests in the coming days and will not take part in the next match with Salernitana. He could also miss the Champions League clash with Benfica on October 3.
