Sportitalia reports that Inter have opened preliminary talks for Albert Gudmundsson, but Tuttosport claims that the Icelandic international is dreaming of a move to the Premier League with Tottenham interested.
Inter have opened talks to sign Genoa star Gudmundsson this summer, but negotiations are not at an advanced stage, according to the latest report from Sportitalia. Journalist Gianluigi Longari claims that Inter directors called Genoa at the end of last week to understand whether a deal for the 26-year-old striker is practically feasible, given that the Grifone’s price tag is quite high. For this reason, the next Serie A champions will probably try to include one of their young footballers in a player-plus-money swap deal, but the conversation with Genoa didn’t get that far because the Nerazzurri still don’t know whether president Steven Zhang will extend a loan with Oaktree or turn to another partner to keep control of the club beyond June. Gudmundsson, scorer of 13 Serie A goals in 30 appearances this season, has attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe.
