In an interview with Sky, former Inter captain Giuseppe Bergomi commented on Inter’s first defeat of Serie A matchday 6 against Sassuolo. For him, fatigue was a decisive factor in the result (1-2 to the Nerazzurri). He believes that the absence of Juan Cuadrado was also a factor.
“Sassuolo is a tough opponent, Inter created a lot in the first half but Sassuolo stretches the pitch, makes you run back and forth and makes you spend a lot of energy, a lot of energy. Dumfries was the best striker but Cuadrado was missing, Inter are a little tired and if you stretch, it’s difficult,” said Giuseppe Bergomi.
