Tijjani Reijnders joined AC Milan last summer from AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands. A few months on, the Dutchman talks about his acclimatization and the changes he has undergone since moving to Italy. He revealed that Italy has made him a better footballer.
“The level of play here is more intense than I’m used to, I notice I’m more tired after games both physically and mentally. But it makes you grow as a player, and I also spoke about this with Dumfries during the training camp with the Netherlands, and he recognized it too. Training sessions are often interrupted to discuss tactical solutions, movements, how to move between narrow lines, and it’s all very instructive. In Italy, you become a more complete footballer,” said Tijjani Reijnders.
