Gianluca Scamacca insists that he doesn’t need goals to give him confidence in Italy and that he’s happy to play for the team.
It was Frattesi who scored the only goal in the 1-0 friendly win over Bosnia-Herzegovina at Empoli’s Stadio Castellani, from a Federico Chiesa assist. “I don’t need to score to feel like myself. I’m happy to be playing for the team. We need to improve, because we are a young team, quite new and everyone is used to doing different things, but I’ve seen positive signs today. We are Italy, and we need to put our qualities and team spirit on the pitch. This is a knockout tournament and anything is possible. I’m not the first choice, thank God, I’m part of the team going to Germany and I’m very happy,” Scamacca told Sky Sport Italia.
