Napoli striker Victor Osimhen assures that he’ll be ready for the Champions League quarter-final against AC Milan after an injury while playing for Nigeria.

The two teams will face each other in Serie A on Sunday at 7.45pm UK time (6.45pm GMT) and Osimhen is certainly out of that game due to the adductor problem suffered on international duty. However, he is aiming for the Champions League quarter-final with the same opponent, as the first leg is at the San Siro on April 12 and then the decisive one at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on April 18. “It is nothing serious, but I want to take these 10 to 12 days to rest and recover. I hope to be there, I was also told and I am convinced that I will be on the field against AC Milan. We are all happy and doing our best to realize our dream. We are close to the goal and we can’t wait for this dream to come true. Napoli is extraordinary, so passionate. I have never received so much love and I can’t wait to celebrate the title with them in the stadium and on the street,” Osimhen told TG5.
