After a draw against Bologna on Matchday 2 of Serie A, Juventus returned to winning ways (0-2) at Empoli. Massimiliano Allegri spoke after the win. He showed that more work is needed to stay at the top. He used a rather peculiar expression to express this.
“It’s not that we are better. We have more time to work and a different squad. A good coach has to know how to work, because if you have a gun, you can’t wage war on tanks,” he began. “We have young boys, who may not have any experience, but who know how to run and, as the coach said, how to play. [Ariedo] Braida, it’s not fundamental, but it helps,” he added, in statements to Calciomercato.
