In a recent media appearance, José Mourinho looked back on some key moments on the Roma bench. He mentioned the Europa League final against Sevilla. The Portuguese admitted that he would be suspended if he said what he really thought of the match.

“Winning the Europa League with Manchester United was a normal feeling for me. But AS Roma-Sevilla… If I say what I think, I’ll be suspended for ten games,” José Mourinho began. He then went on to talk about his benchmark match in the Europa League with the Giallorossi. “I think AS Roma-Leicester City was as important a victory as AS Roma-Feyenoord. I’ve never cried on the pitch after a defeat. Sometimes I cry after a win, and those two games were historic for AS Roma,” concluded the Special One.
