On the sidelines of the match between Juventus and Napoli, Massimo Mauro, a former player of both clubs, gave his impressions. He looked at the Azzurri’s season, the poor casting of Rudi Garcia, the impact of Luciano Spalletti and the departure of Kim Min-Jae.
“Napoli haven’t managed to confirm themselves at their level. After four months in the league between Garcia, whom I would never have taken on, and Mazzarri, who disavowed his 3-5 -2, we can serenely say that Spalletti was everything: not because he won, but because Napoli without that leadership. Yet, apart from Kim, it’s the same team as last year. This confirms that it can be done, but that it’s very difficult to repeat,” Massimo Mauro told Tuttosport.
