Mircea Lucescu, coach of Inter Milan between 1998 and 1999, gave an interview to Gazzetta Dello Sport. The Romanian coach said that his wish is to see Inter win the UEFA Champions League.
“I really liked Inter against Milan. I admired my protégé Mkhitaryan, whom I coached at the time of Shakhtar. I also complimented him by message. I would like Inter to win the Champions League for him, and also for my history with the Nerazzurri. I believe that at this stage they will go to Istanbul to play for the final and they will meet Manchester City. In a final, anything can happen, although I think that Inter would have more chances to win if they had to face Real”, said the current coach of Dynamo Kiev.
