Present at the Manzoni Theatre in Milan for the presentation of Adriano Galliani’s autobiography, Paolo Maldini recalled the moments he spent as a player with AC Milan. He also recalled his first meeting with the Rossoneri’s former vice-president.
“First of all, I can say that I was lucky enough to be born the son of Cesare, the Milanese captain, to be born in Milan and to be able to play with this glorious jersey, and then at a certain point in my life, when I was’was 18, President Berlusconi arrived with Adriano Galliani as his general manager and made us live an incredible dream, because what President Berlusconi said to us in the hall at Milanello on the first day he met the team, that’s really what happened. Indeed, we then multiplied it by two, by three, by four and by five. Those who live life and soccer with passion hold Adriano in high esteem, because he does it the same way,” said the former AC Milan player.
